Whats in a name......?

Why 'Sober Alchemy'?

People always ask me how i thought up my business idea and how I chose the name, so here is a little bit of insight into the meaning behind Sober Alchemy....

The name for my business seemed to appear to me as if by magic, I woke up one day with a business idea and a name already there ready to use, I didn't need to think about it too much! I feel it came to me from the universe and appeared in my dreams ready to be manifested into something real. In my mind the name Sober Alchemy related to all of the amazing experiences and events I was able to create in my life, once I became Alcohol Free. No more fuzzy head or hangovers blocking me from taking action, only clarity and peace enabling me to truly live my best life. Taking all of the pieces of me I thought were broken, destroying the imposter syndrome and creating most authentic version of myself that I have met so far.

The Cambridge Dictionary defines Alchemy as 'a type of chemistry, especially in the Middle Ages, that dealt with trying to find a way to change ordinary metals into gold and with trying to find a medicine that would cure any disease'

'a process that is so effective that it seems like magic'

'Turning ordinary metals into gold.....' I can relate to that, there have definitely been times when I have felt like an ordinary piece of metal, feeling dull, not shining brightly like we all deserve. I chose to turn myself into gold, learning my self worth and creating the life I deserve.

In Spiritual terms the word Alchemy relates to the 'act of inner transformation'

'It is healing and freeing the inner parts of ourselves that need to be changed. By transforming these parts of us, it leads to inner liberation, the freedom from our fears, beliefs that no longer serve us, soul loss, and other self-destructive disorders...'(Udemy,com)

The term Alchemy is also used a lot in the recovery/sobriety sector. Something which I didn't know until I did some research, all using the same concept of freeing yourself from harmful addictions and turning your life into gold.

Non of these meaning I actually knew before the name 'Sober Alchemy' had came to me, how is that for synchronicity and serendipity.....?

All of the amazing brands I stock are all creating their own form of magical alchemy, taking ideas born out of a personal journey in alcohol reduction and creating award winning alcohol free beverages for like minded people to enjoy. That is why you will never see me stock AF offerings from big alcohol companies, it just doesn't align with my business ethos.
